Frequently Asked Questions
How/when can I book?
A $50 deposit is required to reserve any session. Simply send me a message through the Contact page, and I'll get back to you as soon as possible. When planning to schedule a session, please try to reach out at least 4 weeks before your desired date (or even earlier for weekends, which book up much faster than week days). October - December are my busiest months of the year and usually fill up by September, so please keep that in mind if wanting to schedule for that time of year.
How/when are the images delivered?
Within 10-14 days of your session, a link to your digital gallery is sent to you via email. I use a website called Pixieset, where you can also purchase prints/products of your images (but purchase is not required in order to download images). If desired, your digital gallery can be completely private and require a password to view.
How many images will I receive?
For mini sessions I send a minimum of 10-12 images, 25+ images for a half hour session, and 50+ images for an hour session.
Do you edit images?
After carefully looking at each image from your session, I choose the best ones and professionally edit each. I do not send out RAW unedited images as my edits are apart of my style/art as a photographer. I also do not watermark images; I believe you should have unmarked images ready to save, print, post as you'd like.
Where will the session take place?
Being an on location, natural light photographer I have a list of my commonly used spots in the greater Tampa Bay area (Pasco, Hernando, north Pinellas and Hillsborough) that can be found on this blog, which mostly consist of parks and beaches. We are not limited to those locations however, together we can decide on the perfect spot for your session! Newborn sessions can be done in home or on location.
What if we need to reschedule?
In case of inclement weather, we may need to reschedule to another date or time with no new deposit required. I keep a number of open dates each month just for this purpose!
However if a client reschedules more than once (for reasons other than circumstances beyond their control) a new deposit is required for a new date.
"Do you instruct our posing, where to stand, what to do with my hands?!"
Yes! Many clients tell me how "unphotogenic" they are prior to their session, but it never turns out to be true in their final images! ;) I have many simple and easy prompts up my sleeve to make your session a breeze.
Not every moment of the session will be perfectly posed, which is great! Those candid moments are just as beautiful, if not more. If you're worried about your shy/stubborn/independent/you name it child, don't worry! Their personality will be captured no matter what, and I have all the patience in the world for children.
What to wear?
My client style guide will give some more insight as to what you should wear to your session. Coordinating with each other and with the location is the most important, as well as what's comfortable and what's YOU!
